Quarantine Day 10 (aka: my birthday)
Inching ever closer to getting released from centralized quarantine. Four more days to go, and another COVID test.
At this point I am in to my fourth book of the trip, I have binged seasons of: The Expanse, His Dark Materials, and The Mandalorian.
Its my birthday. Crazy. I mean, I knew that I would be spending it here, and I have spent a lot of birthdays not at home. Back in Utah it was almost always tech week. Last year was home, the year before was at Disneyland (I can’t believe it was that long ago. It is a bit sad to be celebrating in quarantine, so not even with other people, but I am sure we will do something when I meet up with everyone else later. I did celebrate with Ruth and Steve via a good long session of our D&D campaign which was a lot of fun.
I did also finally get in a phone call with Papa Bernie. I had meant to call before I actually left on this trip, but never got around to it. Glad I got it in now. I know Ill be out of the country for a while, but hopefully I will have the chance to see them again in person soon.
