Visby, Gotland, Sweeden
Well today we were only in port for the morning, and it was a tender pot as well. We also had rehearsal in the morning for Sally Jones, the evening’s performer. So, needless to say I didn’t get the chance to go ashore. Sot it was a pretty routine day, not much going on besides rehearsal and the shows. It was a formal night tonight, and the Captain’s Cocktail party.
I did find out that apparently I missed some meeting that I was supposed to be at, but I was never informed that I was supposed to be at the meeting. So tomorrow I have to get up early and go see the Chief Officer. Such is life. The only thing that is a bummer about having to see him at 0600 is the fact that we have an hour forward tonight. It just seems like if you aren’t going to tell someone that that need to do something you can’t expect them to so it. Well, I don’t want to ruffle any leaves, so we will just see what happens. So I think I will have to turn in early tonight.
