Agadir, Morocco

Today I got to sleep in, it was really nice. I missed the hot breakfast though, but that isn’t the end of the world. I knew when I got up that I wouldn’t have time to get off the ship today on account of the fact that sail away was at 1330 with all-aboard at 1300. I was not to upset by this because tomorrow is Casablanca and I will have time there, which is besides the fact that I got to sleep in.

So I had a continental breakfast as by the time I got to the Lido they were not serving hot breakfast anymore. I don’t mind. After eating I just hung out and relaxed. Read a little, sat out on deck. It was nice to not have anything to do. We didn’t even have a rehearsal today because the performer was a stand up comedian and doesn’t need anything besides a sound check. That certainly made life easier.

To continue with this amazingly not so interesting day I had dinner and then the two shows. I have to say, I understand Peter’s desire for perfection, but missing one cue just isn’t the end of the world, especially if it a cue that doesn’t ruin the show. Not to mention the fact that the performer wasn’t worried about it. I made a mistake, it happens. I have learned that sometimes you just have to be able to smile and nod to Peter and that makes him happy.

After the shows we had an 80’s party in the OB. Basically that consisted of everyone dressing up like the 80’s and playing 80’s music. It was fun, but I didn’t stay the entire time because I was tired. So off to bed it was.
