A weekend update

Well there were a bunch of interesting things that happened this weekend. I finally had something to do. Actually, I think that it all started on tuesday whan I did a job for my dad. I PA’d on a shoot with Will Farrell, who was doing a press junkit for the release of his new film, Talladega Nights. It was interesting, and we were done just after noon.

On Thursday dad and I were invited to go sailing with Mike Musen, the father of a friend of mine from elementary school. He sails out of Narragansett Bay, RI. It was not the best of days, but we doged the rain. I am not sure how long we sailed for, but it was a lot of fun, and relaxing. It was also nice to be outside. I would love if some day I could afford to own a sailboat like that.

The next big thing was on Friday. I went over to Newton North to say hi to friends who are working on the Newton Summer Theatre Show. It was fun to see them again. Then I ran a few errands in the afternoon, but it was the evening that was the exciting part of the day. Dad got us tickets to the new Cirque Du Soleil show, Delirium. I don’t really know how to describe the show. It was pretty amazing. The music was great, the acts were great, and they had some pretty wild projections and special effects.

Saturday I went to Hyannis with Becca so that she could meet people from the Long Hair Community. They were nice people, and it was nice to get out of the house. We were going to go to the Cape Cod potato chip factory, for a tour, but they are closed on weekends apparently. Such is life. We walked around town, and we got some lunch and just hung out. We started home just as the rain came, but we drove though it, and luckily didn’t run into any traffic on the way.

As for today, well I didn’t really do much of anything. there were some great bad movies on TV. I hate not having something to do. I did get to hang around doing nothing with Becca, which is unusual these days since she works. I like having something to do that isn’t in a house. I’ll find something.
