Steam Into the Past
"Steam into the Past" – Golden Spike National Historic Site

Utah has a lot of interesting history.  For those who don’t remember their American history, the Golden Spike National Historic site is there the railroads spanning the country finally met.  The site is in Promontory, Utah only a short way from the Great Salt Lake.  Other than that, it is really in the middle of nowhere.  The Jupiter locomotive was on the eastbound track.

This image was shot with a Nikon D100 with a 10mm full-frame fisheye lens.  The sepia and vignette were added in post.  As always, comments and criticism are welcome and encouraged!  You can see more by visiting my photo site.
