Crypto I am Into
So, I am no cryptocurrency expert, and I certainly don’t expect to be making millions on paying my kid’s college tuition from crypto mining profits. However it definitely is the technology of the future and it isinteresting and fun to get into. I doubt that any of the currencies listed below will “be the next Bitcoin” and be worth thousands of dollars each, but hey, I have made a bit of actual dollars with some of them without having to do much work. Sometimes is it just about supporting cool new technologies and ideas as much as making money.
Most of the cryptocurrencies listed below are “free-to-play,” meaning that you don’t have to invest any real money to start mining and earning coins or tokens. Some require more intereaction or computing resources than others. All of them offer bonuses for referring other people, so if you want to get involved, please use one of my referral links!
COIN is a relatively new and easy way to get into cryptocurrency. Coin is built on top of the XYO Network. Instead of relying on computers with lots of processing power or ASICs, it uses location data generated by you and your phone. You can start mining right away just by running the app. You can also upgrade your mining potential either with their paid plans or by picking up a “SentinelX,” a device that helps to verify the location data you provide.
Coin is a gret crypto to get into if you are a road-warrior or just do a lot of driving, biking, or travel by train (or any mode of transportation where you can have your phone on with internet). The more tiles you cross, the more you can mine.

Electroneum (ETN) is another cryptocurrency that is free to get into and already has value on the crypto market. Their blockchain is run by non-governmental organizations, and minig is actually all cloud based currently. This means that you don’t eve have to keep the app running on your phone to earn ETN. You do have to open the app at least once every seven (7) days to keep the mining running. When you re-up the miner, you are required to send a selfie to verify that you are not a bot. I assume they have some AI that is checking them. A little odd, but whatever.

Pi Network is a cryptocurrency that is not currently valued against other currencies. Ibelieve it is technically in beta right now. It is another crypto that is currently “free-to-play” and doesn’t require any resources on your mobile device other than to open the app once a day to prove you are human.
They have lots of information on their site about how it owrks and what their goal is. The way I see it, as it requires no investment other than a minute or two a day, there isn’t anything to lose. If it doesn’t get adopted onto any of the crypto exchanges, I haven’t lost anything.
